About This Quote

Gravity always wins. It is one of the simplest laws of physics. But, it can be interpreted in many ways. “Gravity always wins” means that no matter how hard you try to get away from gravity, it will always pull you back down to the Earth.

It also means that just because something doesn’t fall straight down doesn’t mean it will rise back up again. For example, if I am standing on a ball, I may think I have won because gravity hasn’t managed to pull the ball down with me. But, I haven’t won at all because the ball keeps rolling toward the edge of the Earth.
